Grass Tree Boomerang
The Boomerang is an iconic tool of the Indigenous Australians. Traditionally Boomerangs were used in hunting for food and survival. The prey of choice when hunting was often varied species of birds, wallabies, possums and other small mammals.
This Boomerang is crafted from wattle by Jinibara member BJ. Made specially for ornamental purposes. The symbols carved represent Grass Trees and Boomerangs. At a length of 60cm.
